Anderson Broadcasting EEO Report
December 1, 2008 Annual EEO Report (January – November 2008)
During the reporting period there was one job vacancy at Anderson Radio
Broadcasting Inc. The position for a Radio Account Executive was filled
by Dolli Regetti from April 1 2008 – June 30, 2008. The
Leader/Advertiser, Montana Broadcasters Association web site job bank,
The Valley Journal, and Char-Koosta and the Mission Valley One Stop
Workforce Center, were used in the search for applicants.
In the case of no vacancies with our stations we accept unsolicited
resumes, job applications, air tapes, personal referrals as well as
having an active outreach program in which we work with the local Salish
and Kootenai College and Flathead Valley Community College, which both
have minority and female students.
We participate in both job fairs, career days, and offer local high
school students to job shadow, along with participation in the state
broadcast association and Traffic Directors Guild of America which both
have a variety of listings in their job banks, which include both
minority and female applicants.
The stations offer in writing, both in postings, and during the
interview process that we participate in EEO and encourage minorities
and females to apply for all positions within the company.
The stations management and staff are active in a variety of community
groups in our service area whose membership includes minority and female
members. Some examples of these groups are the Ronan and Polson Chamber
of Commerce, The Polson Business Association, the Kalispell Chamber of
Commerce, and the Bigfork Chamber of Commerce.
