Lakeside County Water and Sewer District Launches New Website

LAKESIDE, Mont. – The Lakeside County Water and Sewer District (LCWSD) is pleased to announce the launch of a newly revamped website. This updated version of LCWSD.com has been designed from the ground up for a better user experience.

The new website prioritizes clarity and new functionality for LCWSD customers. Newly implemented features include the ability to sign up for news, notices and alerts through text messages and/or email. Additionally, information about the water and sewer district, recent district news and tips about how to keep your home’s water and sewer system running efficiently can be found on the front page.

The new alert system allows users to get important and timely information about major updates to the water and sewer system, disruptions to service and impacts to traffic due to the ongoing upgrade projects throughout the district.

“We want to find better ways to communicate with our customers and the general public,” said Rodney Olson, General Manager of the Lakeside County Water and Sewer District. “Launching this website is the first step in that process. This will streamline and make all the information about what is going on in the district more readily available.”

According to Olson, the old website, while functional, was dated and needed to be reorganized and updated. The new website aims to be more user friendly and present information in a more accessible way for customers and stakeholders.

“We are excited about the new text and email alerts feature on our website,” said Olson. “Customers and stakeholders who want to stay informed are encouraged to sign up, as this will be the district’s primary way of communicating moving forward.”

All these new features can be found at LCWSD.com, many on the newly redesigned front page for quick and easy access. The LCWSD encourages customers and the public to visit the new website and sign up for alerts to stay up to date when something critical happens in the district.

“We want to make sure everyone stays informed, and the new website is the primary source of district information,” said Olson. “Communicating with our customers and the community is important to us, especially during transitional periods like this when the district is expanding to provide better service through the new wastewater treatment facility and other system upgrade projects.”

The Lakeside County Water and Sewer District is a public utility district that has been providing water and wastewater services to the communities of Lakeside and Somers since 1988. The district is committed to operating and maintaining its water collection and wastewater treatment systems in an efficient, reliable, and financially responsible manner. We value our community and the relationships we have with customers and neighbors and are dedicated to protecting and preserving local water ecosystems including streams, rivers and ultimately Flathead Lake.
