MT Chiefs of Police Foundation License Plate

Montana Chief of Police Foundation Launches New Specialty License
Plate to Support Community and Law Enforcement Leadership
The Montana Chief of Police Foundation is proud to announce the official
launch of its new specialty license plate in partnership with the Montana
Motor Vehicle Division.
The newly designed plate is now available for purchase at local Motor Vehicle
Division offices throughout Montana. Proceeds from each plate directly
support the Foundation’s mission of strengthening relationships between law
enforcement and the communities they serve while investing in the next
generation of law enforcement leaders.
The Montana Chief of Police Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated
to supporting the mission of the Montana Association of Chiefs of Police
(MACOP). Through educational programs, leadership development, and
community partnerships, the Foundation works to enhance public trust and
promote excellence in law enforcement across the state.
Revenue generated from the specialty license plate helps fund a variety of
important initiatives, including support for Special Olympics Montana, the
Montana Law Enforcement Museum, the Junior Police Leadership Academy,
and the Montana Executive Leadership Academy. These programs foster
leadership, preserve Montana’s law enforcement history, and strengthen
connections between officers and the communities they protect.
“We’re excited to offer Montanans a meaningful way to support public safety
and community engagement,” said Chief Steve Snavely, MACOP President.
“Every license plate purchased helps invest in leadership development, youth
programs, and partnerships that make our communities stronger.”
Montanans interested in purchasing the Montana Chief of Police Foundation
specialty license plate can visit their local Motor Vehicle Division office for
availability and ordering information.
