Butte Area Bridge Construction Update May 8: Burlington Street Bridge Closure and Lane Shifts on I-90
| Work at multiple sites in the Butte area continues as part of the Butte Bridges project.
Next week, the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and Sletten Construction Company anticipate closing the Burlington Street bridge, located over Interstate 90 (I-90), through mid-August. Motorists on I-90 can expect lane shifts and reduced speeds during this time. Full closures and detours for Burlington Street will be in place through construction. Work at Centennial Avenue is now expected to be completed mid-October. Full closures and detours will be in place through construction. All activities are dependent on weather and other unforeseen factors. Stay alert and follow posted signage in the work zone. |
