Providence St. Joseph Medical Center honored with Gold Triple Crown Award
Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Polson has received a prestigious new award, recognizing achievements in creating an excellent experience for patients, caregivers and clinicians.
The Gold Triple Crown award is for hospitals that achieve high success in each area of experience — patient experience, caregiver experience and clinician experience — relative to national performance and compared against other Providence hospitals.
“I want to sincerely thank all of our caregivers and providers for their unwavering commitment to excellence,” said Caryl Perdaems, Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Chief Administrative Officer. “Their dedication not only ensures our patients receive compassionate, high-quality care, but also fosters a positive environment for our caregivers and providers. Together, we make Providence St. Joseph Medical Center a trusted, safer place for everyone who walks through our doors.”
When caregivers and clinicians have a great experience, patients do, too. And the reverse is also true: Improving the experience for patients improves the work environment. This Gold Triple Crown award from Providence’s human experience team is given to hospitals with acute-care settings, honoring achievements in all three areas.
Perdaems continues, “Receiving this honor exemplifies how a rural hospital such as ours can provide high-quality care as well as an excellent experience for the patient, our caregivers, and our providers. St. Joe’s is vitally important to our community, and this award just shows how we are excelling in all three of these areas while providing great care close to home.”
Excellence in patient experience, caregiver experience and clinician experience leads to safer, high-quality patient care. This recognition honors the Mission-driven leadership within ministries and celebrates compassionate caregivers who remain dedicated in ensuring that Providence continues to be the best place to give and receive care.
