Planned power outage scheduled for Hungry Horse-Coram area at 1:00 a.m. Thursday, December 12

KALISPELL, Montana – In the early morning hours of Thursday, December 12, Flathead Electric Cooperative will take a planned power outage to repair the distribution electric system in the Hungry Horse-Coram area. The outage will begin at approximately 1:00 a.m. and is expected to last about two hours. Power restoration is expected to occur by 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 12.

Approximately 1,350 Flathead Electric Cooperative members in the Hungry Horse, Martin City, and Coram areas, south of Desert Lodge Road, will lose power in this time frame. The Co-op will attempt to contact members impacted by the planned outage by placing automated calls and/or sending text messages to those members. Area residents are encouraged to look carefully at the map below reflecting the planned outage.

During the outage, impacted members outage can stay up to date by visiting the Co-op’s Outage Center at flatheadelectric.com/outage.
