The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and project partners, continue drilling near the Post Creek Hill bridge on US Highway 93 (US 93). Please expect about a 10-minute delay when traveling this route.
Tentatively, beginning the week of February 24, drivers can expect 24-hour lane closures. During active construction, automated traffic signals will direct alternating single-lane traffic through the work zone. With this in mind, please plan for delays during morning and evening commutes.
The drilling work will take place for approximately three more weeks, weather and unforeseen circumstances permitting.
Drilling work is in preparation for the installation of groundwater monitoring devices that will aid in the design of the bridge foundations during future construction. Full construction is tentatively planned to begin in 2026/2027. This schedule is subject to change due to funding availability, final design completion, and other unforeseen factors.
